It’s hard to envision but the sexy bombshell, the fetish goddess, the snapchat queen, the marketing genius and the overall sex symbol that we now know as Carrie LaChance was once a typical, every day girl, struggling to find her way in the world. Finding her path in life was complicated by the fact that she was a resident of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, a town with a population just over 4,000. Like many young women, Carrie had dreams of becoming a world famous actress and model but had difficulty finding ways to make her dreams come true. After she graduated high school, in 2003, Carrie attended beauty school in hopes of becoming a hair and makeup artist. During this time, Carrie juggled several different jobs to make ends meet including being a cashier, hostess, telemarketer, and probably hardest to believe, a pizza delivery driver.
Still, Carrie yearned for more and spent her days and nights dreaming of a career as an actress and model. They say that hard work pays off and in Carrie’s case that is absolutely true. One day, while hostessing at a restaurant, a local photographer noticed Carrie and offered to shoot her. Carrie jumped at the opportunity and the snowball effect began. Carrie started booking jobs on a regular basis and developing her style as a model. Incorporating her love for sexy, crazy high heels into all of her work has become the staple and foundation of the Carrie LaChance brand.
As time went on, certain things became evident. Not only was Carrie an excellent model but had an almost inexplicable knack for branding and marketing, making her name known throughout the modeling industry and beyond. With her career steadily improving, Carrie decided to expand and in 2006, she became co-owner of ArchEnemys Studios, a multimedia production company for film and photography. In 2008, she launched her fanpage website CarrieLaChance.com which produces all of her memorabilia including photos, videos, autographed prints, calendars and much more. Carrie’s website has been visited by over 180 countries around the world, generating over 600,000 monthly pageviews and has sold more than 100,000 photos worldwide. CBS News Channel 13 once described her as “A walking, talking billboard”. Given the empire she’s built, that sounds like an astute observation. If the past 10 years are any indication of how the future will go then Carrie LaChance will likely be a household name, very soon.
